## Oktopost integration Oktopost is a B2B social media management and employee advocacy platform. Integrating Oktopost with Frontegg lets your application manage social posts, campaigns, messages, and analytics on behalf of your users — all through Frontegg's integration layer. Oktopost's API authenticates with HTTP Basic authentication using your **Account ID** and an **API Key**, so there is no OAuth flow. Prerequisites - An [Oktopost](https://www.oktopost.com/) account with API access - Access to **My Profile → API** in Oktopost to retrieve your Account ID and API Key ### Connect to Oktopost Oktopost authenticates API requests with your **Account ID** (the Basic auth username) and an **API Key** (the Basic auth password). Both values are found in the same place in the Oktopost web app. Oktopost also runs in two data centers (US and EU), so you select the **Region** that matches your account. #### Step 1: Open the API settings Sign in to the Oktopost web app and open **My Profile → API**. #### Step 2: Copy your Account ID and API Key On the **API** page, copy your **Account ID** and your **API Key**. Keep your API Key secure The API Key grants access to your account through the API. Treat it like a password and never expose it in client-side code or commit it to version control. If it is exposed, regenerate it on the same **API** page. ### Configure the Frontegg portal Once you have your **Account ID** and **API Key**, configure the integration in the Frontegg portal: 1. Open the **Frontegg portal** and navigate to [ENVIRONMENT] → Integrations → Oktopost. 2. Select your **Region** — **US** (default) or **EU** — to match your Oktopost data center. 3. Enter your **Account ID**. 4. Paste your **API Key**. 5. Click **Save**. Keep your credentials secure Never share or commit your API Key to version control. ### Additional resources - [Oktopost developer documentation](https://developers.oktopost.com/docs) - [Oktopost website](https://www.oktopost.com/) - [How to get your Redirect URL](/agen-for-work/connectors/redirect-url)
